YONAS LLC is seeking an experienced, independent Class A Contract Driver (1099) for solo over-the-road (OTR) dry van routes based out of Richmond, Richmond County. About the Role
This is a full-time, 1099 contract position handling solo OTR dry van freight. As a Class A Contract Driver with YONAS LLC, you'll cover long-haul lanes that keep your wheels turning, with no driver load or unload responsibilities. Drivers can expect to average roughly 2,000 to 3,000 miles each week, with weekly gross pay typically ranging from $1,000 to $2,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a dry van trailer safely across over-the-road lanes as a solo driver.
- Complete OTR runs with an expected schedule of about 14 days out before rotating home.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and DOT driving and safety regulations.
- Manage routes efficiently to meet delivery timelines while protecting cargo integrity.
- Communicate consistently with dispatch regarding load status and trip progress.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
- No restrictions on your license, including (L/Z) air brakes, (G) night driving, or (O) no semi-trailer limitations.
- Comfortable with extended OTR schedules of approximately 14 days on the road.
- Self-motivated and dependable, suited to operating as an independent 1099 contractor.
Home Time
- Earn 2 days of home time for every 14 days worked.
- Be home at least 2 weekends every month.
