As a Water Quality Technician at the U S National Whitewater Center, you take ownership of the water that powers our outdoor experiences. This on-site position in Paw Creek, Mecklenburg County centers on the day-to-day care of the whitewater channels and the Deep-Water Solo pool, ensuring conditions stay consistent and dependable through hands-on monitoring and proactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and care for the water systems supporting the whitewater channels and the Deep-Water Solo pool.

• Manage chemical injection equipment to hold water quality within target standards.
• Perform routine upkeep across multiple interconnected and technically complex systems.

Qualifications

• Comfort working hands-on with mechanical, filtration, and chemical-dosing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to monitoring and recordkeeping.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain interconnected, multi-part systems.
