About the Role
As a Donor Service Representative within the Donated Goods Retail department, you are often the first friendly face donors meet when they arrive at our Wescosville location. Reporting to the Production Manager, this non-exempt, part-time position blends customer service, hospitality, and hands-on support to keep the donation experience smooth, welcoming, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist donors courteously as they drop off donated goods, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
- Receive, sort, and handle incoming donations while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe donation area.
- Provide accurate donation receipts and answer questions about Goodwill's mission and processes.
- Support the flow of donated merchandise to the retail and production teams.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and fellow team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to friendly, donor-focused customer service.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, sorting, and moving donated items.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work a flexible part-time schedule at the Wescosville, Lehigh County site.
