About the Role

As a Merchandise Processor with Goodwill Keystone Area, you'll play a hands-on part in turning community donations into quality, shopper-ready merchandise. Working within the Donated Goods Retail department and reporting to the Production Manager, this non-exempt, part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys steady, detail-focused work and takes pride in keeping a retail operation moving. The role is based on-site in Phoenixville, Chester County.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, and prepare donated items so they meet the quality standards expected on the sales floor.
• Evaluate goods to decide what is suitable for resale and what should be diverted from inventory.
• Tag, price, and organize processed merchandise for an efficient transition to retail display.
• Keep production and work areas clean, orderly, and safe throughout each shift.
• Support daily processing targets and collaborate with the production team to keep merchandise flowing.

Qualifications

• Comfortable performing physical, repetitive tasks such as lifting, sorting, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail when assessing the condition and value of donated goods.
• A reliable, team-oriented approach and a willingness to follow established processing procedures.
• Able to work on-site in Phoenixville, Chester County on a part-time schedule.
