About the Role

As a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Labor and Delivery with MSSI, you'll support birthing patients and their families through every stage of the childbirth journey in Warwick, New York. This is a full-time travel assignment built around 12-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours each week over a 13-week duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients in the L&D unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and assist during deliveries
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the perinatal care team to carry out individualized care plans
• Educate and reassure patients and families before, during, and after birth
• Document assessments and interventions accurately while upholding facility and clinical standards

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license valid for practice in New York State
• Demonstrated clinical experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• Availability for 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, across a 13-week assignment beginning as soon as possible
• Willingness to work on-site in Warwick (this is not a remote position)
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills suited to a fast-paced obstetric environment
