About the Role
As Director, On-Site Power Delivery, you will own the field-level coordination that keeps a large-scale AI data center powered and on schedule. The position centers on aligning utility partners, substation delivery timelines, and permanent power milestones so that critical infrastructure comes online reliably and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct utility power coordination across stakeholders supporting the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Abilene AI Data Center.
- Drive high-voltage infrastructure readiness, ensuring equipment and systems are prepared for energization.
- Align substation delivery schedules with construction and commissioning plans.
- Manage progress toward permanent power milestones and resolve on-site delivery dependencies.
- Travel approximately 50% to support field execution at the Abilene site and related locations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience delivering high-voltage or utility-scale power infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of substation delivery, energization sequencing, and permanent power readiness.
- Ability to coordinate utilities, vendors, and internal teams toward shared delivery milestones.
- Willingness to be based in Abilene, Texas or work remotely within Texas with about 50% travel.
- Strong communication and program-management skills suited to fast-moving data center environments.
