About the Role
As a Strategic Analytics Consultant - UM Transformation at Highmark Health, you will serve as a trusted internal advisor, guiding complex strategic initiatives that elevate and optimize programs within a focused business area. Operating much like an in-house consultant, you will own pivotal projects end-to-end — carrying them from early concept through to clear, actionable recommendations that shape the direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact strategic initiatives designed to strengthen and refine programs within a defined discipline or business unit.
- Take full ownership of mission-critical projects, steering them from initial idea through to well-defined, practical outcomes.
- Translate analysis into recommendations that directly inform and influence organizational strategy.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to align efforts and deliver measurable improvements in utilization management.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic projects in a consulting or analytics capacity.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to convert data and insight into concrete, executable recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage initiatives independently from conception through delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with comfort influencing strategy at a senior level.
