CHS Recruiting is seeking a compassionate, board-eligible or board-certified Pediatrician to join a well-established rural healthcare practice in Alma, on either a full-time or part-time basis.
About the Role
This Pediatrician opportunity in Alma, offers a predictable, family-friendly schedule rooted in outpatient care. Whether you prefer a full-time commitment or a part-time arrangement, you'll deliver high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in a close-knit community that genuinely values its physicians.
- Full-time: 4 or 5 days per week
- Part-time: 2 or 3 days per week
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- No nights, no weekends, and no holidays
- Shared on-call rotation of 1:3
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including wellness visits, immunizations, and acute treatment
- Diagnose and manage illnesses and developmental concerns across childhood and adolescence
- Partner with families to guide preventive care and long-term health outcomes
- Collaborate with clinical colleagues and support staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate medical records in line with practice standards
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program
- Active or eligible state medical licensure
- A patient-first approach and strong interpersonal skills suited to a rural practice setting
Compensation
For full-time physicians, the position offers a competitive and rewarding package:
- $250,000 annual base salary, commensurate with experience
- Negotiable sign-on bonus
- Productivity bonus structure
