Leasing Ambassador (Build to Rent)

Brookfield Properties is hiring a full-time Leasing Ambassador (Build to Rent) in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County to welcome prospective residents and turn community tours into signed leases across our growing single-family rental portfolio.

About the Role

As a Leasing Ambassador (Build to Rent) based in Charlotte, you will be the friendly first point of contact for future residents exploring our build-to-rent neighborhoods. Working on-site in Mecklenburg County, you'll guide guests through homes, answer their questions, and help them picture daily life in a Maymont Homes community. This is a relationship-driven, customer-facing position where genuine hospitality and attention to detail directly shape occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, qualify, and tour prospective residents through available homes and community amenities
• Respond promptly to inquiries by phone, email, and in person, nurturing leads from first touch to move-in
• Guide applicants through the leasing process, including applications, lease paperwork, and renewals
• Maintain accurate prospect and resident records, following up consistently to keep the pipeline strong
• Showcase model homes and ensure tour-ready presentation that reflects the quality of the community
• Partner with on-site teammates to deliver a seamless, welcoming resident experience

Qualifications

• Outgoing, people-first personality with strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfort working on-site in Charlotte (this is not a remote role)
• Organization and follow-through to manage multiple prospects and details at once
• A team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for residential leasing or sales
• Prior leasing, hospitality, retail, or sales experience is a plus
