About the Role

As Community Manager – Build to Rent, you will oversee the day-to-day performance of a build-to-rent community in Chattanooga, Hamilton County. This on-site, full-time position is ideal for a hands-on leader who blends operational excellence with genuine care for residents and team members, helping shape the future of single-family rental living.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the overall operation and financial performance of the build-to-rent community.
• Foster a welcoming, service-focused environment that supports resident satisfaction and retention.
• Lead, coach, and develop on-site team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Manage leasing activity, occupancy goals, and resident communications.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor relationships, and property upkeep to uphold quality standards.
• Monitor budgets, reporting, and key metrics to drive continued community growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property, community, or multifamily/single-family rental management.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with residents and stakeholders.
• Comfort with operational reporting, budgeting, and performance goals.
• A resident-first mindset rooted in innovation, quality, and care.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site role in Chattanooga, Hamilton County (this position is not remote).
