About the Role
This is a traveler position based in Sonora, California (95370), with an anticipated start date of September 22, 2025. As a Travel CT Technologist, you will deliver high-quality computed tomography imaging on a night schedule of four 10-hour shifts each week (4x10), supporting clinical teams and patients across a 13-week contract. The assignment is on-site in Sonora — this is not a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans accurately and safely, following established imaging protocols and patient-care standards.
- Prepare and position patients for examinations while ensuring their comfort and explaining each procedure.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, monitoring image quality throughout each study.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff during overnight shifts.
- Maintain precise documentation and adhere to radiation-safety and infection-control practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Active ARRT (CT) certification.
- Current BLS and BCLS certification.
- Availability to work night shifts (4x10) for the full 13-week assignment in Sonora, CA.
- Prior travel assignment experience is welcome but not required — first-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
