About the Role
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is expanding its acclaimed Life Sciences team and looking for a mid-level corporate associate to step into a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment. In this Washington, DC position, you will advise pioneering, high-growth businesses across the life sciences and healthcare landscape, supporting complex corporate matters from start to finish. It is a role suited to a lawyer who thrives on intellectually demanding work and wants to deepen their expertise alongside leading practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle corporate transactions on behalf of emerging and established life sciences, healthcare, and technology-focused clients.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documentation across a range of deal types.
- Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to deliver practical, commercially aware counsel.
- Manage workstreams independently while contributing to broader matters within a dynamic, growth-oriented practice.
Qualifications
- Mid-level corporate associate experience, ideally with exposure to life sciences or healthcare transactions.
- Strong grounding in corporate and transactional law gained at a reputable firm.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation capabilities.
- Admission to practice and good standing in the relevant jurisdiction.
- A collaborative approach and the ambition to grow within a top-tier, award-winning team.
