About the Role
As a Barista with Flik Hospitality Group, you will be the welcoming face behind the counter, preparing espresso-based drinks and serving guests across the Stony Brook University campus at 100 Engineering Drive, Stony Brook, NY 11794. Both full time and part time schedules are available, with days and hours that may vary; complete scheduling details are shared during the interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to a consistently high standard.
- Greet guests warmly and deliver attentive, courteous customer service.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and related café equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality guidelines at all times.
- Handle transactions accurately and support smooth daily café operations.
Qualifications
- Prior barista experience is preferred.
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
- Reliability and availability for full time or part time shifts, with flexible days and hours.
