Working alongside SOQIC investigators, you will lead sophisticated analytical efforts that support funded grants and research projects centered on improving surgical outcomes and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct complex statistical analysis for surgical research studies and externally funded grants within SOQIC.
  • Collaborate closely with investigators in the Department of Surgery to design rigorous, methodologically sound research.
  • Grow and strengthen the statistical and analytical programs supporting the Center's portfolio.
  • Contribute statistical expertise to scholarly publications, grant submissions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Advanced training and demonstrated expertise in biostatistics or a closely related quantitative discipline.
  • Proven ability to lead statistical methodology on multifaceted research projects and grant-funded work.
  • Experience partnering with clinical or surgical investigators in an academic medical setting is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach suited to a multidisciplinary research environment.
