MalaceHR is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician II to join our team in Shannon Plaza, Durham County, North Carolina, supporting the upkeep of commercial and industrial climate systems.
About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Technician II position based in Durham, NC, operating on a first-shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role offers compensation of $30–$35 per hour. As an HVAC Technician II at MalaceHR, you will deliver preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance across a range of equipment, working safely, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to keep commercial and industrial HVAC systems running reliably.
- Diagnose faults and complete corrective repairs on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
- Apply predictive maintenance practices to anticipate issues before they cause downtime.
- Troubleshoot and service a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC units with attention to detail.
- Follow all relevant safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience servicing and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC systems at a Technician II level.
- Strong troubleshooting ability across preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.
- A commitment to working safely and efficiently while upholding professional standards.
- Availability for a first-shift, Monday-to-Friday schedule in Durham, North Carolina.
