About the Role

As a Property Adjuster I with Erie Insurance, you will operate primarily in the field across the Grove City, Mercer County area, investigating and resolving property damage claims. This position sits within the Property Damage Department and is an on-site, full-time opportunity (this is not a remote role). The posted salary range for this level is $55,261.00–$88,274.00; actual pay reflects the scope of the role hired for, along with your skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and commercial property to assess the extent of damage and document findings accurately.
• Investigate the circumstances of each claim, gather supporting evidence, and determine coverage under the applicable policy.
• Estimate repair and replacement costs and negotiate fair, timely settlements with policyholders and contractors.
• Maintain clear records and communicate updates to all parties throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Deliver responsive, empathetic service that reflects Erie Insurance's commitment to its customers.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to perform field-based inspections throughout the Grove City, Mercer County region.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills suited to entry-level claims work.
• Effective written and verbal communication for working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Capacity to manage a workload independently while meeting quality and service standards.
