Caregiver – Assisted Living CBRF

Montello Care Center is hiring a compassionate, dependable Caregiver for our Assisted Living CBRF at Residences On Forest Lane in Montello, Wisconsin (Marquette County). About the Role

As a Caregiver in our Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF), you become a trusted part of each resident's everyday life. Working hands-on in an assisted living setting, you support residents with the personal care, comfort, and companionship they need to thrive in a warm, home-like environment. We offer flexible scheduling across day, evening, and overnight shifts and are happy to build a schedule that works for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meals
• Provide attentive, respectful, person-centered care that honors each resident's independence
• Observe and report changes in residents' health, mood, or behavior to the care team
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enrich residents' quality of life
• Work cooperatively with fellow caregivers and staff across rotating shifts

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for caring for and connecting with older adults
• Reliability, patience, and strong communication skills
• Willingness to work day (6:00am–2:30pm), evening (2:00pm–10:30pm), or overnight (10:30pm–6:30am) shifts
• Availability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Ability to perform the physical tasks involved in hands-on resident care
• Prior caregiving experience is welcomed, though a positive, teachable attitude matters most
