About the Role
As a Travel Operating Room RN with Zack Group, you'll join a busy surgical team in York, York County, supporting perioperative care across both circulating and scrub functions. This is a full-time travel position scheduled for 13 weeks, with 40 hours each week worked on 8-hour day shifts. The assignment is on-site (not remote) and begins as soon as you are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as both circulating and scrub nurse during a range of operating room procedures.
- Prepare the surgical environment, instruments, and sterile field ahead of each case.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments accurately throughout procedures.
- Monitor patient status and maintain strict aseptic and safety standards in the OR.
- Document care precisely and coordinate smoothly with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license valid for practice in the state of Maine (or a compact license that covers it).
- Demonstrated experience as an Operating Room nurse, comfortable in both circulating and scrub roles.
- Availability to begin promptly and commit to the full 13-week, 40-hour-per-week schedule.
- Strong attention to detail, sterile technique, and the adaptability that travel assignments require.
