Brockton Area Multi-Servi (BAMSI) is seeking a compassionate, dependable Residential Counselor – MAP to join our team in Kingston, Plymouth County. In this full-time role, you will support individuals in a residential setting and help them live fuller, more independent lives.
About the Role
As a Residential Counselor – MAP in Kingston, you will provide hands-on, person-centered care within a community residence. This is an on-site, non-exempt (hourly) position scheduled for 40 hours per week: Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pay range for this role is $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct support and daily living assistance to the individuals served in the residence.
- Promote each person's independence, dignity, and engagement in the community.
- Carry out duties associated with the Medication Administration Program (MAP) in line with program standards.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming home environment.
- Document services accurately and communicate effectively with the broader care team.
Qualifications
- Genuine commitment to supporting children, families, individuals, and seniors.
- Willingness to obtain or maintain MAP certification as required for medication-related responsibilities.
- Reliability and flexibility to work the posted Tuesday–Friday and Sunday schedule on-site in Kingston.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
