About the Role

As a Senior Interior Designer at WRA Architects Inc., you will lead the interior vision for a diverse portfolio of architectural projects from our Plano, Collin County office. This full-time, on-site position places you alongside a collaborative team committed to creating environments that help people thrive across PreK-12 schools, higher education campuses, and municipal buildings throughout Texas and Oklahoma.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the design and development of interior concepts for educational and civic facilities.
• Translate client goals into functional, inspiring, and durable interior environments.
• Collaborate closely with architects, project teams, and stakeholders throughout each project phase.
• Guide finish selections, materials, furnishings, and space planning to align with project intent.
• Support and mentor emerging interior designers as they advance their skills.

Qualifications

• Proven, senior-level experience in interior design, ideally within an architectural firm setting.
• Familiarity with PreK-12, higher education, or municipal facility design is highly valued.
• Strong ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and manage design responsibilities independently.
• A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, technical competence, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on-site in Plano, Collin County (this role is not remote).
