About the Role

Prisma International, Inc. is expanding its network of skilled Spanish interpreters in Wisconsin and is seeking dedicated professionals to serve as Independent Contractors. In this Spanish Onsite Interpreter position based in Milwaukee, you will deliver face-to-face interpretation that supports one of Prisma's state government clients, helping Spanish-speaking individuals communicate clearly during important appointments and proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate onsite (in-person) Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish interpretation at assigned locations throughout Wisconsin.
• Support Prisma International's state government client during scheduled interpretation assignments.
• Deliver consecutive and, where required, simultaneous interpretation that preserves meaning, tone, and intent.
• Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and strict confidentiality on every assignment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience interpreting between Spanish and English in onsite settings.
• Proficiency in consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation techniques.
• Based in Wisconsin, with the ability to travel to in-person assignments in and around Milwaukee, Milwaukee County.
• Comfortable working as an Independent Contractor on a full-time basis.
• Strong command of both spoken Spanish and English, paired with reliable, courteous communication.
