About the Role
As a Travel CT Technologist with Coast Medical Service in Austell, Cobb County, you will join a busy allied health team and operate advanced CT imaging equipment to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. This is a night-shift travel position offering 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts, with an as-soon-as-possible start date and a planned duration of 13 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) examinations following physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Prepare and position patients to capture high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Apply radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and yourself throughout each procedure.
- Maintain and verify the proper functioning of CT scanning equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the broader allied health team during night shifts.
- Document procedures accurately and keep clear, complete patient imaging records.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a CT Technologist within an allied health professional setting.
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
- Willingness to travel and commit to a 13-week assignment beginning as soon as possible.
- Strong attention to detail, patient-focused communication, and the flexibility that travel assignments require.
