MID LOGISTICS INC is seeking an experienced Class A Contract Driver (1099), OTR, Dry Van to join our solo over-the-road team out of Bethlehem, Northampton County. If you take pride in safe, dependable hauls and want to partner with a carrier that values its drivers, this opportunity is for you.
About the Role
As a Class A Contract Driver operating under a 1099 agreement, you will run solo over-the-road (OTR) dry van freight on behalf of MID LOGISTICS INC. This is a full-time contract position offering weekly average gross pay of $1,750, with mileage compensation ranging from $0.50 to $0.65 per mile. The role is based in Bethlehem, Northampton County, and is not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A dry van on solo over-the-road routes safely and on schedule
- Transport freight reliably while maintaining the high standards our customers expect every trip
- Complete required trip documentation and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment road-ready
- Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, and route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing
- Proven OTR driving experience, ideally with dry van equipment
- Willingness to operate as a 1099 independent contractor on solo routes
- Clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Ability to spend extended time on the road as required by over-the-road work
