About the Role
The Division of Oncology, part of the Department of Medicine, is recruiting a dedicated clinician scientist whose work bridges patient care and discovery in thoracic oncology. The selected candidate will be appointed at a rank — Assistant, Associate, or full Professor — commensurate with their experience, scholarly record, and academic standing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert clinical care to patients in medical oncology, with an emphasis on thoracic malignancies.
- Lead and contribute to research that advances understanding and treatment of oncologic disease.
- Participate in the academic mission of the Division of Oncology, including mentorship and the education of trainees within the Department of Medicine.
- Collaborate across disciplines to translate scientific findings into improved patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- An MD or an equivalent medical degree.
- Current eligibility for, or certification by, the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- Specialization in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
- A demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and scholarly investigation appropriate to the proposed academic rank.
