About the Role
As a Wellness Technician II in Huntley, McHenry County, you will work hands-on with members and patients in a wellness and fitness setting, guiding safe exercise practices and delivering attentive, service-focused support. Key Responsibilities
- Assist members and patients with safe, effective use of fitness equipment and wellness facilities
- Monitor activity areas to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space
- Provide guidance on proper exercise technique and general wellness practices
- Support program operations, member check-ins, and day-to-day administrative tasks
- Respond to member questions and escalate concerns appropriately to ensure a positive experience
Qualifications
- Background or interest in fitness, wellness, exercise science, or a related health field
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to customer service
- Ability to demonstrate and reinforce safe exercise practices
- Reliability and availability to work full-time day shifts in Huntley, McHenry County
Compensation
The hourly pay range for this Wellness Technician II position is $26.18 to $35.35. Where a candidate falls within that range depends on factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For roles covered by a labor union, placement is determined according to the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Northwestern Medicine also provides a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
