About the Role
Soccer Shots COUS is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled coach to lead engaging soccer classes that introduce children to the fundamentals of the game in a fun, supportive environment. You'll work with players at various developmental stages, creating positive experiences that build confidence and a lifelong love of soccer.
What You'll Do
- Conduct dynamic, age-appropriate soccer training sessions for children 18 months to 8 years old
- Teach foundational skills including ball control, footwork, teamwork, and game awareness
- Design and deliver lesson plans tailored to each age group's developmental needs
- Create an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere that prioritizes fun and player development
- Demonstrate proper soccer techniques and lead drills that build individual and team skills
- Communicate progress and feedback to parents and guardians
- Maintain a safe, organized training environment
What We're Looking For
- Genuine passion for soccer and coaching young children
- Experience working with children in sports or educational settings
- Strong soccer knowledge and technical ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire children across multiple age groups
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for program delivery
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
