Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Professional to join our organisation in the role of Youth & Family Practitioner. This position will provide holistic, strengths-based, person-centred support to young people and their families within a tailored youth and family services environment. <h2-Core Duties Provide mental health support to young people and their families through outreach and in-person sessions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the needs of each client. Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify mental health needs and progress. Provide group therapy sessions and workshops to address various issues faced by young people and their families. Qualifications A relevant tertiary qualification in Mental Health or a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology). SCHADS Award Level 5 up to pay point 5 - $55.85 per hour. Proven experience working with young people and their families in a mental health setting. A strong understanding of strengths-based and person-centred approaches. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
