coac GmbH is seeking a motivated Werkstudent Java Entwicklung to join our development team on-site in the United States (nationwide) (nationwide) and help build the data-driven software that powers our clients' success.

About the Role

As a working student in Java development at coac GmbH, you'll take on a meaningful role within our engineering team. Your focus will be supporting the creation of dependable, scalable software solutions that move our data-centric projects forward and deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Java applications that enable our clients to streamline workflows and make decisions grounded in data.
• Help safeguard software quality through thorough code reviews and testing practices.
• Experiment with current Java technologies and contribute fresh ideas and inventive approaches to our work.
• Partner closely with seasoned developers and colleagues across departments to shape the strongest possible solutions.
• Independently investigate and resolve technical challenges in an efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related degree program, with a solid command of Java.
• Hands-on software development experience and comfort working in IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
• Familiarity with widely used Java frameworks, for example Spring Boot.
• Foundational knowledge of database technologies and SQL.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down and solve complex problems.
• A collaborative, communicative mindset paired with genuine initiative.
• Excellent command of both German and English.
