Torch Technologies is hiring a Weapons and Tactics Senior at Robins Air Force Base in Houston County, Georgia. This is a full-time position supporting advanced defense research and engineering initiatives for the U.S. Department of Defense.
About the Role
As a Weapons and Tactics Senior at Torch Technologies, you'll provide expert-level analysis, strategy, and technical guidance on weapons systems, tactical operations, and defense modernization initiatives. This senior-level role requires strong technical depth and the ability to mentor teams while delivering high-impact solutions to complex federal defense challenges.
What You'll Do
- Lead analysis of weapons systems, tactical doctrine, and operational effectiveness for military customers
- Develop and evaluate tactical concepts and strategic recommendations for defense programs
- Mentor junior engineers and analysts while contributing to research and development efforts
- Collaborate across teams to translate military requirements into engineering solutions
- Support program development, proposal work, and technical documentation for federal clients
- Apply defense industry best practices and stay current with evolving military doctrine
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in weapons systems, tactical operations, military science, or related defense engineering discipline
- Senior-level expertise and demonstrated leadership capability
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills for federal-level stakeholders
- Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance (preferred)
- Experience in defense contracting or federal research environments
- Active interest in contributing to U.S. military capability and national defense
