Rosina Food Products is hiring a full-time Wastewater Treatment Operator for the 2nd shift at our Lackawanna, Erie County manufacturing facility. About the Role
As a Wastewater Treatment Operator on our 2nd shift team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the environmental integrity of our food manufacturing operations. We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping our treatment systems running smoothly and safely.
What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment and systems throughout your shift
- Conduct regular water quality testing and maintain accurate treatment logs and records
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of treatment equipment
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and facility standards
- Respond promptly to equipment issues and implement corrective measures
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with the operations team regarding treatment performance and concerns
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience operating wastewater treatment systems or similar mechanical equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain detailed records
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Reliability and willingness to work the 2nd shift schedule consistently
- Wastewater operator certification or related environmental credentials a plus
