Warehouse Worker

Warehouse Worker at Cargill in Abie, Butler County is a full‑time position supporting the safe and efficient movement of agricultural products within our facility.

About the Role

This role is essential to keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.

What You'll Do

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of grain, feed, and other materials.
• Organize and store inventory using proper shelving, palletizing, and labeling techniques.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for outbound distribution while maintaining accuracy.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment after receiving required training and certification.
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle‑count procedures to keep stock levels accurate.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area by following OSHA guidelines and reporting hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to meet daily productivity targets.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for counting and documenting quantities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
