About the Role
As a Warehouse Production Grade 1, you'll be part of the hands-on team that processes, packages, and prepares fresh produce for shipment. Working in our Plover warehouse facility, you'll contribute directly to ensuring Del Monte's quality standards are maintained from production through delivery. This is entry-level warehouse production work suitable for candidates with foundational warehouse or production experience.
What You'll Do
- Handle, sort, and organize fresh fruits and vegetables according to specifications and quality standards
- Operate basic warehouse equipment and machinery as directed and trained
- Pack and prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling
- Inspect produce for quality and report issues to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily targets
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures consistently
- Perform additional production duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Ability to perform warehouse and production tasks with attention to detail
- Physical capability to work on a production floor (standing, bending, lifting)
- Commitment to safety guidelines and company procedures
- Reliable attendance and strong punctuality
- Basic communication and teamwork skills
- Prior warehouse, production, or food handling experience is a plus
