VP, Customer Development and Growth

Colorado Natural Gas is hiring a full-time VP, Customer Development and Growth to lead customer expansion strategy from our Glendale, Denver offices. This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape how a fast-growing utility connects with and serves its communities.

About the Role

As VP, Customer Development and Growth at Colorado Natural Gas in Glendale, Denver, you will own the strategy and execution behind customer acquisition, retention, and long-term growth. Reporting into senior leadership, you will translate market opportunity into measurable results, partnering across the organization to expand our customer base while strengthening the experience we deliver every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall customer development and growth strategy for the organization
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities to grow the customer base across the Denver area
• Lead initiatives that improve customer acquisition, retention, and overall satisfaction
• Build and guide high-performing teams focused on customer engagement and development
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align growth goals with company objectives
• Establish performance metrics and report on progress toward growth targets

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in customer development, growth, or a closely related discipline
• A track record of scaling customer relationships and delivering measurable business results
• Strong strategic thinking paired with the ability to execute and lead teams
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to work on-site at our Glendale, Denver location (this role is not remote)
