Vice President, Client Operations

BNY Mellon seeks an experienced and strategic leader to serve as Vice President, Client Operations in our Indianapolis, Marion County location. In this full-time leadership role, you'll drive operational excellence and oversee critical client-facing services while managing a dynamic team in a fast-paced financial services environment.

About the Role

This position places you at the center of how BNY Mellon serves its clients. You'll take ownership of operations spanning both internal and external stakeholders, translating business priorities into operational strategies, maintaining rigorous service standards, and ensuring seamless day-to-day execution. Your focus will be on identifying inefficiencies, resolving exceptions, and continuously improving processes to strengthen client relationships and operational performance.

What You'll Do

• Direct operational teams and mentor staff to deliver exceptional service to internal and external clients
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations
• Manage high-priority issues and exceptions while maintaining composure under demanding timelines
• Design and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
• Collaborate across departments to align client operations with broader business objectives
• Conduct regular reviews and coaching to develop team capabilities and performance
