UX Designer, Shopping Design

Amazon's Shopping Design team is hiring a UX Designer based in Seattle, King County. This full-time role offers the opportunity to define and drive the future of shopping experiences at Amazon, working with voice and graphical interfaces in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

About the Role

As a UX Designer on the Shopping Design team, you'll serve as design owner from concept inception through product launch. You'll work in a dynamic setting where design decisions directly impact how customers interact with Amazon. Your responsibilities span strategic design thinking and tactical execution, translating customer needs and business constraints into simple, intuitive interfaces that customers find easy and enjoyable to use.

What You'll Do

• Design user experiences for shopping features across voice and graphical interfaces
• Own the full design lifecycle from discovery and ideation through launch and post-launch iteration
• Leverage data and customer insights to validate designs and drive continuous improvement
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver ambitious concepts
• Simplify complex shopping workflows and requirements into intuitive, elegant customer experiences

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated UX design experience shown through a strong portfolio
• Experience designing across multiple platforms and interface types, including voice and graphical design
• Ability to use data and metrics to inform and validate design decisions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional team environments
• Strong passion for creating delightful, intuitive customer experiences
