About the Role

As a Utilities Technician specializing in water distribution, you'll serve in a critical operational role classified as essential to emergency response. You'll report directly to the Utilities Crew Leader and be part of a dedicated team responsible for the day-to-day management and upkeep of water infrastructure throughout the service area.

What You'll Do

• Perform maintenance, repair, and installation work on water mains, service lines, and related equipment
• Respond to service disruptions, emergencies, and customer concerns affecting water distribution
• Conduct inspections and testing of water system components to identify issues and ensure compliance
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment used in water utility operations
• Keep detailed records of work completed, materials used, and system conditions
• Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations governing water utility work
• Coordinate with crew members and other departments to complete projects on schedule
• Respond to emergency calls as needed to restore service and protect public health

What We're Looking For

• Experience working in water utility operations or a related utility field
