Fort Worth Christian School is seeking a passionate, faith-driven educator to join our science department as an Upper School Chemistry Teacher in Richland Hills, Tarrant County. In this full-time role, you will inspire students in grades 9–12 to explore the wonders of chemistry through a Christ-centered lens.
About the Role
As the Upper School Chemistry Teacher at Fort Worth Christian School, you will report to the Upper School Principal under a 10-month contract. The position centers on delivering challenging, well-structured science instruction that integrates academic excellence with Christian faith, helping high school students grow spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach engaging and academically rigorous chemistry courses to students in grades 9 through 12.
- Foster a classroom culture rooted in Christian values that nurtures the whole student.
- Support each learner's spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social development.
- Equip students with strong scientific knowledge, reasoning, and laboratory skills.
- Maintain a safe, encouraging, and well-managed learning environment.
Qualifications
- A genuine commitment to Christ-centered education and the school's mission.
- Background and competency in chemistry and the physical sciences suitable for upper school instruction.
- Ability to create lessons that are both rigorous and meaningful for high school students.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
