The Opportunity
Indian River Transport is seeking experienced Class A CDL Company Drivers with Tanker Vehicle Endorsement for our Over-the-Road (OTR) division. This position offers a consistent schedule of being out on the road for 3-4 weeks followed by 3-4 days off at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dry van and tanker vehicles according to company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards.
- Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and on time.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during trips.
What We're Looking For
- A valid Class A CDL license with a Tanker Vehicle Endorsement (N).
- At least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer driving experience in the past 3 years.
- Demonstrated ability to operate tanker vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients.
