About the Role
This full-time, travel-based position lets you live wherever you call home. The company arranges flights to and from your active job sites, covers travel and living costs while you're working, and brings you back home for two extended weekends each month. As a Traveling Superintendent - Commercial, you'll oversee commercial construction projects from the field, taking ownership of on-site execution from groundbreaking through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day operations on commercial construction job sites as the on-site leader
- Coordinate subcontractors, crews, suppliers, and schedules to keep projects on track
- Enforce safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements throughout each build
- Monitor budgets, timelines, and progress, resolving field issues as they arise
- Travel to assigned project locations and serve as the company's representative on the ground
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading commercial construction projects as a superintendent
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and field management
- Willingness and flexibility to travel and work at job sites away from home
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering projects on schedule
