About the Role

This is a full-time travel nursing position with Prime Time Healthcare Nursing, placing experienced registered nurses into a Neonatal Intensive Care setting in the Tacoma area. The contract runs for 13 weeks beginning July 13, 2026, with a schedule of 36 hours weekly across 12-hour day shifts. As a Travel Nurse RN in the NICU, you'll deliver specialized critical care to premature and critically ill infants while collaborating with a dedicated neonatal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-acuity nursing care to neonates in a Level III–IV NICU environment.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to the changing clinical needs of premature and critically ill newborns.
• Coordinate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and fellow nurses to execute individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold established neonatal care protocols.
• Support and communicate with families navigating intensive newborn care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and credentials valid for practice in Washington.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a Level III–IV NICU.
• Specialty competency in Neonatal Intensive Care nursing.
• Availability for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Willingness to relocate to or commute within the Fircrest, Washington area for the assignment duration.
