Travel Nurse RN – Interventional Radiology

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is placing a full-time Travel Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology at a facility in Winchester, Massachusetts — a role paying $2,820 per week for the right clinician ready to bring specialized expertise to a high-acuity procedural environment.

About the Role

This 8-week travel assignment begins July 27, 2026, with a day-shift schedule of 8-hour shifts at 40 hours per week. You'll work inside an active Interventional Radiology suite supporting image-guided procedures — a fast-paced setting where clinical precision and procedural confidence are non-negotiable.

What You'll Do

• Prepare patients for IR procedures including vascular interventions, biopsies, drainages, and embolizations
• Operate as the circulating or scrub nurse during fluoroscopy- and angiography-guided cases
• Monitor hemodynamic status, administer conscious sedation, and manage patient safety throughout procedures
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists, radiology technologists, and anesthesia staff
• Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and sterile technique standards throughout every case
• Support post-procedure recovery and patient handoff to the appropriate care team

What We're Looking For

• Active RN license valid in Massachusetts (or Compact Nurse License eligibility)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab nursing experience
• Demonstrated comfort with conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with vascular access procedures, contrast administration, and IR-specific equipment
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows — a core skill for successful travel nurses
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to start on or before July 27, 2026
