About the Role
As a Travel CT Technologist, you will operate computed tomography equipment to capture precise diagnostic images that guide patient care across a busy Manhattan facility. This is a full-time, on-site travel assignment scheduled to begin June 29, 2026, running for approximately 8 weeks at 36 hours per week. The position follows a 12-hour night shift pattern, making it ideal for allied health professionals who thrive in fast-paced overnight clinical settings near Grand Central.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and imaging procedures following established clinical protocols and physician orders.
- Position patients accurately and ensure their comfort and safety throughout each examination.
- Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly.
- Apply radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
- Document imaging studies accurately and collaborate with radiologists and the wider care team during night-shift coverage.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a CT Technologist within an allied health professional capacity.
- Current credentials and licensure required to practice computed tomography in New York.
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts across a 36-hour work week.
- Flexibility and adaptability suited to short-term travel assignments.
- Strong attention to detail, patient-focused communication, and the ability to work independently overnight.
