About the Role
As a Travel Coordinator at Hayes Locums, you will own the end-to-end travel experience for the physicians we place. Based at our Fort Lauderdale office, you will partner with a high-performing operations group to keep clinicians moving smoothly between assignments — booking, troubleshooting, and anticipating needs so providers can focus on patient care rather than itineraries.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, book, and manage complex travel arrangements — including flights, lodging, and ground transportation — for physicians placed on assignment nationwide.
- Deliver a best-in-class, concierge-level experience that keeps providers supported from departure to return.
- Coordinate closely with recruiting and operations teams to align travel logistics with assignment timelines.
- Resolve last-minute changes, cancellations, and unexpected disruptions quickly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate travel records and keep all stakeholders informed throughout each booking.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple travel itineraries at once with precision.
- Excellent communication and customer-service instincts, with a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.
