Based out of North Canton in Stark County, this full-time, travel-intensive role is ideal for a seasoned field leader who thrives on delivering commercial builds from groundbreaking through final turnover.

About the Role

As a Travel Construction Superintendent with Fred Olivieri Construction, you will take ownership of daily on-site operations for retail and restaurant developments wherever our projects take you. This position requires regular travel and a hands-on approach to keeping each jobsite safe, on schedule, and built to standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities from start to completion.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to keep work aligned with project plans and timelines.
• Manage retail and restaurant construction projects located across Ohio and nationwide.
• Enforce safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and code compliance on every jobsite.
• Track progress, anticipate scheduling conflicts, and resolve field issues as they arise.
• Travel consistently to project locations and maintain a strong presence on each site.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of construction experience, ideally in commercial, retail, or restaurant builds.
• Proven ability to manage every phase of on-site construction independently.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively for project assignments.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills across trades and stakeholders.
• Solid working knowledge of construction methods, safety requirements, and quality standards.
