About the Role
As a Teller Operations Supervisor, you're the foundation of banking center excellence. You'll combine frontline banking expertise with leadership skills to inspire your teller team to thrive in both service delivery and sales. This full-time position balances hands-on banking work with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and a superior customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor tellers, modeling best practices in customer service, transaction accuracy, and product knowledge
- Coach team members to identify and present relevant banking products and services to customers
- Process customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency while maintaining compliance standards
- Monitor banking center operations, including cash handling, security protocols, and daily reconciliation
- Manage teller scheduling, performance reviews, and professional development
- Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and problem-solving expertise
- Support sales initiatives and drive cross-selling of banking products and services
- Maintain a secure, organized, and welcoming banking center environment
What We're Looking For
- Proven banking teller experience or equivalent customer-facing banking background
- Demonstrated leadership ability with team management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with banking systems, cash handling procedures, and transaction processing
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and sales principles
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and the highest ethical standards
- High school diploma or GED required; banking certifications valued
