Teacher (Vaya Chin)

Tohono O'odham Nation is seeking a Teacher (Vaya Chin) to provide early childhood education in Sells, Pima County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support the developmental growth of enrolled children within our community-based learning environment in Vaya Chin, Arizona.

About the Role

As an early childhood educator, you will work under limited supervision to create engaging learning experiences that foster social, physical, and intellectual development in young learners. You will design activities that meet developmental milestones while maintaining an environment that prioritizes safety and wellness for all children in your care.

What You'll Do

• Design and lead age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and physical growth
• Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning space for enrolled children
• Observe and assess child development to inform individualized learning experiences
• Build positive relationships with children and families within the Tohono O'odham Nation community
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the educational mission and goals of the organization
