About the Role
This is a leadership opportunity with an established, financially sound public accounting firm in Colorado Springs that continues to expand its client base. Because of recent growth, the firm is creating a Tax Director/Senior Manager position for a driven professional who wants to guide engagements, mentor a capable team, and deliver trusted tax expertise to a loyal roster of clients. This is an on-site role based in El Paso County.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and review tax returns and related deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage tax engagements from planning through completion, balancing quality with deadlines.
- Serve as a strategic tax advisor, offering planning insights that add measurable value for clients.
- Lead, coach, and develop tax staff, supporting their professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a primary point of contact.
Qualifications
- Substantial experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
