This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with a respected multi-office CPA firm that delivers comprehensive tax planning, advisory, audit, bookkeeping, and payroll services to clients throughout the western United States.

About the Role

As Senior Tax Manager at Capstone, you'll lead complex tax engagements while mentoring junior staff and building lasting client relationships. This position offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated clients, collaborate with financial advisors and attorneys, and develop a deep practice in tax strategy and compliance. You'll be central to delivering the integrated client experience that defines our firm.

What You'll Do

• Manage and oversee tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and business entities
• Prepare comprehensive tax strategies, returns, and advisory recommendations
• Lead client meetings, provide tax planning guidance, and identify optimization opportunities
• Train and supervise junior accountants and tax associates on complex matters
• Coordinate with audit and bookkeeping teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintain quality standards and meet engagement deadlines consistently

What We're Looking For

• CPA license with 5+ years of progressive tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax law
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate complex concepts clearly
• Leadership and mentoring experience with accounting staff
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Professional demeanor and commitment to continuing education
