Position Summary This full-time role focuses on developing and managing our talent pipeline across South Africa. You'll be the primary point of contact for cultivating relationships with promising professionals, building a diverse candidate pool for current and future opportunities, and supporting our recruitment efforts from initial sourcing through to placement. This position is based on-site in Cape Town and offers the chance to shape how we attract top talent in the region. Responsibilities Source and identify qualified candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social networks, professional associations, and direct outreach Build and maintain a comprehensive database of potential candidates aligned with our hiring priorities Screen CVs and conduct initial telephone or video interviews to assess candidate suitability and interest Develop and sustain relationships with active and passive candidates to keep them engaged with our opportunities Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to understand role requirements and refine candidate profiles Track recruitment metrics, manage candidate communications, and maintain detailed records in our applicant tracking system Provide feedback and updates to candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience Who We're Looking For Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related HR role Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates from diverse backgrounds Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and standard recruitment tools Familiarity with the South African job market and talent landscape Ability to work independently whilst meeting targets and supporting team goals A passion for connecting people with meaningful opportunities More About Pinewood.AI Pinewood.AI is an ambitious technology company committed to innovation and excellence.
