System Software Engineer, Object team

THE ROLE

Be part of the Engineering team that designs, develops, and maintains innovative features for our Object product on FlashBlade and FlashArray platforms. You’ll take ownership of these features throughout their lifecycle, from concept to implementation, ensuring they meet evolving requirements, incorporate technical updates, and maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and compliance.

You’ll work within the CPBU group, developing and maintaining various data transmission protocols and handles the internal storage of the data. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, you’ll partner closely with teams across engineering, product development, account management, and other key stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Together, we’re shaping the future of the all-flash array market and redefining what’s possible in unified file and object storage.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design and implement innovative algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable systems (aiming for six nines of availability).
• Take ownership of solutions end-to-end — from concept through delivery of new features or products.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and develop effective, thoughtful solutions.

WHAT YOU BRING 

• Proficiency in building and maintaining large-scale, high-performance systems using languages such as Java, Golang and/or C++. You write clean, efficient, and reliable code that scales.
• Ability to take full ownership of complex features or components, from design through delivery, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability that align with product goals and customer outcomes.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to break down complex distributed or low-level system challenges and design thoughtful, scalable solutions.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, communicating effectively with peers in engineering, product, and operations to drive shared success and deliver tangible results for customers.
• Curiosity and a growth mindset, you seek out new technologies, challenge assumptions, and bring forward creative ideas that move the product and team forward.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
